This infographic shows the change of the age structure in Bonn between 1993 and 2007.

The graphics reach an easy and intuitive user guidance, by the reduction of the interactive possibilities on simple mouse clicks. The metaphor of the age rings serves for the representation of the population structure (the youngest as the outer, the oldest as the inner ring). In addition more statistical data are indicated by click on the rings.

Caused by the government move it came between 1993 and 2000 to a light decline in population which was compensated, however, till 2007. Today Bonn is one of few cities in Germany with still growing number of inhabitants.
